Amazing Power Of Prayer!

What is Prayer? Prayer is submitting ourselves to someone to whom we have faith, love, confidence. Prayer is a means to communicate our needs and desires to God. We won’t pray to anybody because we know it would be useless. We search for somebody who we feel has the power to fulfill our demands and wishes. Nobody has got those powers in the universe except the Omnipresent, the Omniscient, and the one who has created this universe.

People may follow different methods of doing their prayers, however, their goal is one. They are seeking something, they want something, they are missing something in their lives and want some assistance from God. They have already tried to solve it themselves many times but they could not succeed so finally they decided to knock the door of God.

A Family that Prays together, stays together. This is perfectly fine. The best person with whom we can communicate our problems, share our miseries, and ask for solutions is God Himself. We have all the right to seek God’s blessings because he is divine, selfless, he cannot see anybody unhappy and mainly because only He has the power to fulfill our demands. The more faith we have in God, the more powerful our prayer would be. God will have to bless his children.

We should always make an effort to develop a close relationship with God by regularly developing more faith in Him. The prayer should always come from the bottom of our heart, with complete devotion because it is gradually going towards a divine heart. The gate will always be open but there will always be some conditions that will have to be met.

Lord Krishna promises to us, “Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, offer obeisances and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me(Bhagwad Gita Ch 9:34).” Jesus says, “Seek and you shall find(Mathew).” What is it believers ought to be seeking? It is God Himself!

When people reach higher planes of spirituality, their prayers are different from worldly people. “Give me your Love” or “Reveal yourself to me” or “Make me your disciple” these are the prayers of the people who make the highest progress in spirituality. They feel that worldly problems they will solve themselves although they may face a lot of struggles, but ask for petty things from God, is a matter of great shame for them. They don’t do prayer at specific times, they do PRAYER WITHOUT CEASING. When the devotee reaches that level, then there will be no need for any prayer, their life itself will be a prayer.
